Lahore: The Central Business District Punjab (CBD) has officially announced that the much-anticipated Lahore Global Village (LGV) is on the verge of becoming operational, as reported on September 30.
As per details, the project is expected to be a transformative hub for commerce, dining, and leisure, cementing Lahore’s status as a modern commercial metropolis. A delegation from the CBD Punjab, including Saqlain Akbar, Deputy Director of Urban Planning, and Faran Sadiq, Assistant Director of Retail Sales, recently visited the Lahore Global Village to assess the progress of its commercial activities. They were joined by representatives from the CBD Punjab Technical Directorate, ensuring the development stays on track.
During the visit, the delegation met with Genesis Properties’ Chairman Habib Nawaz and CEO Raheel Iftikhar. Both officials provided an update on the progress of LGV, confirming that the project is close to completion. LGV is being developed with a vision to become one of Lahore’s premier commercial destinations, with a variety of prominent retail and food brands already confirmed for the grand opening.
Habib Nawaz shared his optimism about the development, stating, “The Lahore Global Village is poised to become a key landmark in Lahore’s commercial landscape. We are working diligently to ensure that everything is ready for the operational launch, and we’re excited to welcome visitors soon.”
The spokesperson for the CBD Punjab further added, “This project is a significant milestone in Lahore’s journey to becoming a global commercial hub. The Lahore Global Village will not only boost economic activity but also elevate the city’s profile as a modern destination for business and leisure.”
