Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the Lahore Development Authority to prepare a feasibility report on the construction of an overhead bridge as well as an underpass on the Circular Road, according to a news report published on November 6.
The directives were issued in a meeting held to brief the CM on seven development projects planned to address infrastructure-related issues in the neglected areas of Lahore. In addition to seeking a report on the construction of these facilities, Buzdar directed the civic agency to share details on the construction of a parking plaza near these structures.

As per the LDA sources, the estimated cost of these projects is PKR 3 billion. The development authority will acquire 35 kanals of land for the construction of the flyover and the underpass. The plan further reveals that the LDA will complete construction of the dual-lane overhead bridge and underpass in eight months.
