According to reports, an NDMA delegation met with WASA members to discuss project finance and the site appraisal of the proposed underground water harvesting storage tanks. WASA members informed the delegates that the authority had already evaluated the proposed location, size, and potential environmental consequences. In addition, to maximise the advantage, the authority constructed three underground water storage tanks before the start of the monsoon season. The delegate was also informed about the project’s positive effects on the provincial capital’s underground water level.
