Karachi: Sindh Chief Secretary (CS) Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah has announced that the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) will be revamped to improve the state of the water supply and sewerage system, according to news report. He expressed his view on the matter during a meeting with officials of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI).

He issued directives for the deputy commissioners (DCs) of all districts to ensure cleanliness in their areas. He also directed the DC Korangi and Solid Waste Management Board (SWMB) officials to relocate the garbage station to a new area, away from the EBM Causeway, on the request of the KATI. The task is to be completed within the next 30 days.
To resolve problems of transportation in the city, the infrastructure of green buses has been completed. Under the Rapid Bus Transit (BRT) initiative, six projects would be developed, he added.

According to Mumtaz Ali Shah, the Sindh government is working tirelessly to bring foreign and local investment to the province. For this purpose, the executive is providing several facilities to businesses and investors, especially those running agricultural industries.
