Asadullah Khan, managing director of KWSB, expressed his views on the matter. He was talking to Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Water Development Waqar Mehdi.
This new initiative will ensure equal supply of potable water to all areas of Karachi. It will also enhance efficiency of the distribution network. To facilitate this end, a public awareness campaign will be launched.
The board is already supplying around 70 million gallons of water per day to Karachi from Hub Dam, which is the main source of potable water supply for the city.
