Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan met with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Bin Al Malkiy on Monday, a news source reported. Both officials discussed the Gulf kingdom’s plan for investment in Balochistan.
The ambassador informed that the Saudi government is seeking to finalise the documentation work for investment in the province. He stated that the country plans to invest in Balochistan’s solar energy, oil, and water and desalination sectors.

CM Kamal lauded Saudi Arabia’s support for Pakistan. He also briefed Saeed Bin Al-Malkiy regarding the provincial government’s efforts geared towards facilitating foreign investors.
The Saudi envoy also met with Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai. They discussed the relations between the two countries, including bilateral trade ties.

The ambassador also distributed relief cheques among the people affected by the earthquake that hit Turbat and Awaran in 2013. CM Kamal, along with other provincial ministers, also attended this ceremony.
