Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Tuesday (April 11) announced that all patwari-related activities will be taking place in the government’s specified offices and patwar houses and not in private patwar centers, according to news sources.

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Pir Haroon Shah stated that the government has announced reforms in the revenue department to enhance service delivery. He highlighted that people’s affairs related to the revenue and patwari department will be simplified.

According to Shah, the KP government has imposed a ban on all types of transfers and postings, including those of patwaris. However, transfers with prior permission and facing unavoidable circumstances will be allowed.
He warned that strict action will be launched against absent employees and those found visiting government offices for choice postings and transfers.
