Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has utilised all the funds allocated under its Annual Development Programme (ADP) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2020, according to a news report. This includes all the funds allocated towards developing the merged tribal areas.

KP Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan revealed this information during a high-level meeting he chaired to review the projects listed under the ADP. The members of this meeting learned that over 99% of the funds had been spent, and none of the allocated amounts had lapsed.
The meeting also reviewed the performance of various departments in this regard. The Agriculture Development ranked the highest, with a score of 86, while the Local Government and Public Health Engineering departments ranked second and third, respectively.

Additionally, it was also disclosed that 249 development projects had been listed under the ADP for the settled districts and 88 projects for the merged tribal areas. In addition, 122 projects in these areas had been placed under the Accelerated Implementation Programme (AIP). Over PKR 55 million had been spent for projects in these tribal areas, meaning that 100% of the allocated funds had been utilised.
