Peshawar: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkwa (KP) has taken the initiative to launch Pakistan’s first digital city near Islamabad, a news source quoted Special Assistant to KP Chief Minister Kamran Khan Bangash. Pakistan Digital City will be located on the other side of Islamabad’s Margalla Hills in Haripur.
A preliminary survey is being carried by national and international industries for the planned projects, the site for which is located at a distance of just 30 minutes from the federal capital of Pakistan. As per the information shared by the KP Information Technology Board, the site will be converted into a platform for technology corporations and a variety of businesses according to the digital and industry requirements.
For Pakistan Digital City, investors will be urged to participate, while land will be offered on lease to these firms and interested businesses.
