Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police department has decided to extend its services to the merged tribal districts, a news source reported. To implement traffic policing in these areas, the city traffic police will soon begin training of officials from the Khyber district.

According to a spokesperson of the city traffic police, the city police mobile driving licence van and staff will begin visiting three tehsils of the Khyber district. These include Bara, Landi Kotal, and Jamurd. He added that this process will help people obtain driving licences on their doorsteps.
The spokesperson also stated that the city traffic police will make efforts to set up Khyber district traffic branch. The authority will also train its personnel and run traffic awareness campaign for the masses, he added.
