Peshawar: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Friday (March 25) approved tourism, rural road development, and several other uplift projects, according to media sources.

In the 17th PDWP meeting, chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, approval was given for 25 projects related to Communication & Works (C&W), Elementary & Secondary Education, Sport & Tourism, Rural Development, and Public Health Engineering sectors.
As per the details, the approved projects included sewer suction machines for sewerage lines & opening drains, the purchase of sanitation vehicles for KP TMAs and divisional headquarters. Some other projects included:
- Feasibility study & construction of Badalai Bridge at Madyan in Swat
- Solarisation of schools in merged areas
- Imran Khan Mohmand Shaheed Girls Degree College at Shergarh, Mardan
