To facilitate this measure, the department is setting up recreational facilities such as motorised boats, kayaks and tuck shops at the lake, and is ensuring the provision of basic amenities for both foreign and domestic tourists.
The officials concerned recently shared a report with KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Prime Minister Imran Khan with regard to the developmental measures being taken in the province to develop the lake.
Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) spokesperson Ihsan Hameed said that swings, rafting boats, and other attractions were available at the lake. Similarly, plans are underway to host new water games in a bid to increase the number of tourists visiting the site.
