Peshawar: Officials of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government gave briefings to the representatives of various international organisations on the government’s development strategy, a news source reported.

The delegation included representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank (WB), Department for International Development (DFID), European Union (EU), and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Provincial Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Shahram Khan Tarakai, Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Chief Secretary Salim Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Shahzad Khan Bangash, Secretary Finance Shakeel Qadar, Secretary Information and Public Relations Mukhtiar Ahmad Khan, Secretary Local Government Zakir Shah, Secretary P&D Atif Rehman, and Home Secretary Ikramullah Khan were all present at the occasion.

The government officials briefed the delegation on the government’s 10-year strategy for tribal areas, comprehensive development partnership framework, budget 2019-20, and the newly-introduced local government (LG) system.
