The minister said that KP is committed to giving shelter to the low-income strata at affordable rates. He said that the housing department is not a profit-earning enterprise and operates solely to help out the citizens in need. He assured that the PRP is a flagship project and would be completed at any cost.

Furthermore, Ali highlighted that the housing scheme offers the construction of grey structures at subsidised rates – which includes land and developmental charges. The meeting was informed that the PHAF was the PRP’s execution partner and is responsible for the land acquisition, construction of roads, boundary walls, main gate, and check posts.
Meanwhile, the provincial government would also construct a road from Zangali check post at an estimated cost of PKR 3.47 billion.
