Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur on Sunday (April 10) reviewed the progress of development projects underway in Peshawar, according to news sources.

The said review meeting was held at the Local Government Secretariat in Peshawar with KP Minister Gandapur in the chair to check the progress of ongoing projects and the performance of local bodies. The meeting was attended by Members Provincial Assembly (MPA)s. The minister expressed satisfaction over the pace of the uplift projects launched under Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP), City Metropolitan Corporation, and all four Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA).
Moreover, the meeting decided to deploy inspection teams, increase municipal staff, and quality control personnel to improve water supply services and sanitation in the city. The minister directed the municipal bodies to expedite the pace of the uplift project.

Reportedly, the KP Minister Gandapur notified the meeting that an integrated plan to recycle the garbage in all major cities is in the talks. The attendees were informed that potential sponsors and resources were being explored for the project.
