Developed by the Communication & Works Department (C&WD), KP Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan launched the system on Sunday at the CM Secretariat in Peshawar. The new system allows contractors to register themselves with the government, and it will soon become integrated with other e-governance platforms under development.
The CM noted that the success of the platform depended on its extensive adoption. In this regard, he directed other provincial departments to adopt the system in consultation with the C&WD. He particularly mentioned the Local Government (LG), Public Health Engineering, and Irrigation departments.
Additionally, to ensure the system’s tangibility, CM Khan directed to launch an e-work platform during the next phase. He said that this platform would help integrate the contractor-registration system with the database it would create.
