Peshawar: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has launched the second phase of its Insaf Rozgar loan scheme for the youth, the province, the news source reported.

Insaf Rozgar loan scheme will provide young people with markup-free loans of up to PKR 1 million to help them start their own businesses and will cost PKR 700 million. Addressing the launch ceremony, KP Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan said that the interest-free loans for the province’s youth will encourage an entrepreneurial spirit. The interest-free loans will be available to low-income, unemployed men and women under certain circumstances.
KP Minister for Finance Taimur Jhagra stated that the government is doing all it can to provide the youth from the merged districts with an interest-free loan. He added that the Bank of Khyber (BoK) will soon share the ads for the scheme and that it will assist the youth in becoming self-sufficient.
Taimur stated that it is an excellent opportunity for all KP citizens to take out loans and start their own businesses anywhere in the country.

It is important to note that the Insaf Rozgar Scheme was introduced by the KP government in 2019, and in 2020, PKR 0.5 billion was allocated to the newly merged tribal districts as part of the scheme.
