Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to shut down hotels and restaurants located in the province’s popular tourist hot spots to discourage visitor influxes during the Eid holidays — with the initiative aimed at curbing the risk of a potential spike in the number of coronavirus cases recorded during the festivities, a news source reported. The government has issued instructions to local administrations and the police for this purpose.
