Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Wednesday hired architects for improving visual beauty of different areas of the province, a news source reported. To facilitate this measure, the provincial government has recruited 27 architects, which include seven women.

To this effect, the Local Government (LG) Department issued a notification. It indicated that the experts hired for enhancing visual beauty of KP have been posted in different areas under the Tehsil Municipal Administration. These regions include Peshawar, Kohat, Nowshera, Bannu, and Dera Ismail (DI) Khan.
On the other hand, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (CM) on LG Kamran Bangash also issued a statement on Twitter about the initiative. He stated that the recruitment of the architects was a revolutionary step towards enhancing the landscapes of various urban and rural areas across KP.

In November 2019, the provincial government had also approved a mega development plan for the uplift and beautification of Peshawar. According to details, under this plan, the KP government had planned to set 17 new park attractions to facilitate the locals.
