As it had diverted some development funds to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, it was previously considering cutting the ADP as well.

However, it decided not to do so. KP Health and Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra addressed a press conference at the Civil Secretariat on Monday. There, he revealed that the government had released all annual development funds in December, and recorded the lowest expenditures in a long time. However, these low expenditures were the result of the pandemic.
