Mansehra: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has approved funds worth PKR 70 million for the construction of the Danda-Banda Road in Torghar district, according to a news report published on November 17.

The development work on the road project will be launched following the issuance of the requisite funds by the provincial executive. The said infrastructure scheme will improve transport flow for as many as 50 surrounding villages. This information was revealed by Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Laiq Mohammad Khan (who also serves as chairman of the district development advisory committee) to a public gathering.

Moreover, he assured the people of Torghar that the incumbent administration is striving to ensure that district is on a path of prosperity and development in terms of health, education and road infrastructure. He revealed that to construct the Asharo Markary Village, the government had approved funds of PKR 10 million and work on the scheme will be launched soon.
