Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Development Authority (KPDA) has been abolished by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government and all assets and human resources are now being used by the KP Economic Zones Development and Management Company, according to a news source.
Reportedly, the 44-year old KPDA was abolished in line with the KP Taking Over of the Industrial Estate or Economic Zones Ordinance issued on July 22.
The ordinance was passed after the Peshawar High Court issued an executive order for the dissolution of the authority.
