According to the details, this project, valued at PKR 71 million and funded by the World Bank through the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC), is designed to empower diverse entrepreneurs, including men, women, persons with disabilities, and transgender individuals.
The IBDP, strategically located within the Peshawar Economic Zone, aims to nurture small business ventures, enabling them to scale up and achieve long-term sustainability. The park provides the essential infrastructure, including ready-to-use office spaces, production facilities, and a dedicated training centre, to support resident start-ups.
Unlike traditional business incubation centres, the IBDP also features a production house, allowing small-scale businesses to manufacture their products on-site. The park will serve as a hub for B2B matchmaking, market access, and networking, fostering an environment where entrepreneurs can thrive alongside established industrial units.
