Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan recently chaired a meeting to review current progress on developmental projects under PSDP 20-21 as well as the inclusion of new ones into the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). Notable attendees included Additional Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan and other senior officials, according to a news source.

According to the details revealed, around 40 projects were proposed for the next PSDP, including a 360km-long Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway, a 30km Dir Motorway, Chashma Right Bank Canal, Panjkora River Left and Right Bank Canal, as well as Malkoh, Kosht, and Kagh Lasht Irrigation Scheme.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan directed the officials concerned to finalize the PC-1s of the proposed projects to ensure their timely inclusion in the next PSDP. He further stated that the said uplift scheme should be accorded the highest priority.

In response, the KP chief minister was informed that the PC-1 forms of other development projects including the 10-km long Swabi Bypass Road, 149-km long Mastuj-Baroghal Road were in the process of final approval.
