Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Mehmood Khan on Tuesday directed the officials concerned to ensure the timely completion of flats for labourers in Regi Lalma-Peshawar, a news source reported on December 9.

He was chairing a meeting of the Labour Department at the Chief Minister’s House. The attendees reviewed the development progress on the housing schemes of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Workers Welfare Board.
The session was also briefed on Regi Lalma-Peshawar. It was informed that 95% of the ‘physical progress’ has been made so far on the construction of 1,200 family flats and related infrastructure in the locality.
The work on second phase of the project is also underway where 856 additional flats and infrastructure is being developed and 94% of the physical work on Phase 2 has also been completed.

Moreover, the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has provided electricity to 592 flats, while the work on remaining flats is currently being done.
