Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan, on Saturday, directed the administrations of Mardan, Swabi and Charsadda districts to take action against the illegal housing societies within their respective jurisdictions particularly with a view to protect agricultural land from encroachment – a news source reported on February 21.

The CM further instructed the relevant officials to prevent riverbed activities that are damaging river infrastructure.
CM Khan was chairing a meeting on the development projects in Mardan division. Aside from the directions on illegal housing, he also issued instructions to the health department for provision of required human resources and equipment to all local hospitals on an urgent basis so that the delivery of health services to the locals could be ensured.

Moreover, he directed the relevant authorities to provide medical equipment to the Jhanda rural health centre on a priority basis so that the gynaecological ward could be made functional.
