Peshawar: The Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan recently emphasised the need to develop Peshawar’s infrastructure, according to a news source. He also ordered all the relevant authorities to take immediate action to clear the land and all other issues related to utility provision in Regi Model Town.

CM Khan chaired a meeting regarding the Transform Peshawar Plan at the Chief Minister’s House, and said that the government is adamant on making Peshawar a vibrant city, complete with modern infrastructure and efficient service delivery.
KP Ministers Ishtiaq Urmar, Shahram Tarakai, Hisham Inamullah, Taimur Saleem Jhagra, and Liaquat Khattak attended this meeting, along with advisers to chief minister Kamran Bangash, Ziaullah Bangash, MPA Arbab Jehandad and other officials.

The members received a briefing about the Transform Peshawar Plan, with special focus on infrastructural development, service delivery, beautification, traffic management, recreation, sanitation, drinking water, sports, utilities, and health and education facilities.
This plan will be carried out in three phases, with the first phase involving an integrated rolling plan with feedback from experts.
