Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has directed to include mega tribal development projects in the upcoming Annual Development Programme (ADP), a news source reported.

Chairing a consultative meeting for the new ADP as part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-20, the CM gave the said directions. Various departmnets presented their proposed development programmes during the meeting. The officials also informed the CM that around 234 development projects will reach completion during the ongoing FY 2018-19.
The CM directed to further increase the pace of the development activities taking pace in the tribal districts. He added that the aim of the development schemes should not expansion or construction of unnecessary infrastructure, but the efficient utilisation of resources and delivery of service.

CM Mahmood also instructed to complete the drinking water supply projects in Karak city on a priority basis by the end of the FY 2018-19. He added that authorities concerned should complete the projects related to the Rashkai Economic Zone.
