Divisional Wildlife Officer Syed Taimur Shah stated that the authorities concerned wanted to provide maximum facilities to the people visiting the lake. He added that they also planned to establish a management complex on the site. This complex will include spaces for health and police departments, he said.
Shah revealed that a recent meeting chaired by the commissioner of the Hazara division finalised the plan for developing a modern parking space on the road leading to Saiful Muluk Lake. He added that the authorities would allow the vehicles to park one kilometre away from the lake’s banks.
The official further stated that the lake was located within the national park owned by the Wildlife Department. He said they planned to create a recreational spot and a parking lot before the tourist season began in middle of May. He added that the commercial zone to be constructed a kilometre away from the lake would comprise several facilities including mini cabins.
