Lahore: Kot Lakhpat Mandi will be turned into an IT tower and a convention centre, according to a news source. The Punjab chief minister (CM) has assigned this task to the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
The new IT tower will be a replica of Arfa Karim Tower; a feasibility report for the new tower is also being prepared. Of the 115 kanals here, around 75 will be used for the IT tower, while the remaining land will be used to construct a convention centre. The project has been included in the LDA’s priority list on the Punjab CM’s instructions.
