This directive was issued in response to a summary submitted by the CDA for the issuance of funds required to develop the project. As per details, the CDA administration had announced its decision to complete the project in various phases, after a summary forwarded to the federal cabinet for the issuance of a PKR 10 billion grant remained unaddressed. To continue with the development work under the next phase, the civic administration recently requested the PKR 1.5 billion from the federal executive.

The cabinet declined the request and directed the CDA to develop and complete the project under the PPP mode. In response, the CDA has started to contact developers or/and administrations of housing societies in the vicinity to help arrange for the funds required to complete the project.
The CDA officials have further asked the managements of these housing schemes to provide 80% of the total funds for the project, while the civic authority will arrange for the remaining 20%.
