Multan: The authorities concerned have transferred the oversight /REMOVE rep./ of the newly established tourist site at Koh-e-Suleman — called the ‘Mubarki Top’ — to the Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP), according to a news report published on September 2.

The Mubarki Top is located on the Suleman Mountain Range, at a height of over 7,000 feet above sea level in Dera Ghazi Khan. In addition to this site, six other tourist sites called ‘Park Ways’ are also being developed on the same mountain range, including ‘Kalgayee’, ‘Baarthi’, ‘Mat Chandia’, ‘Hik Bai’, ‘Anari Top’, and ‘Sanghar’.

In related news, the provincial government also announced that it would be setting up 4 small dams on the Koh-e-Suleman River in order to curb water wastage in the area. This decision was made in a high-level meeting held on Tuesday. The session was reportedly chaired by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar, who also took the opportunity to approve the dam project.
