The meeting was presided over by KMC Administrator Laeeq Ahmed, who was joined by KMC Senior Director Coordination Khalid Khan, Parks Director General Taha Saleem, General Works Director Shabiul Hasnain Zaidi, and other officers.
According to the KMC Administrator, an advisory group would be formed to oversee road rehabilitation. The committee will include well-known personalities, notable people with innovative ideas, and KMC officials.
He also stated that memorials will be built on the roads to beautify them. In an effort to beautify Karachi numerous major corporations and organisations have already offered some remodelling ideas to the roads selected for the renovation including Shahrah-e-Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, and other important roads. He added that Shahrah-e-Faisal is an essential route since it connects to the airport.
