Karachi: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) to issue new rent challans for its huts at Hawke’s Bay within 15 days, reported a news source on September 9.
According to the details, the decision came after hearing over 35 petitions filed against the KMC, which currently charges PKR 18,000 per year per hut, though some lessees have failed to pay even that amount. The court has now dismissed all the petitions.
