Karachi: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has handed over an expensive plot reserved for a public park in Clifton area to the Karachi Grammar School (KGS).
The plot has been handed over to the school under the ‘Adopt a Park’ scheme, a news source has reported. However, social activists have expressed fears that the KGS might restrict public access to the park once it has been developed.
The news source reported further that the KMC and the KGS have not disclosed details of the agreement under which the land in question has been handed over to the school.
