Karachi: Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab on Monday (March 28) inaugurated rehabilitation work on the two-lane Kala Board to Saudabad Chowrangi Road, news sources reported. The project will be completed by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).

According to reports, Wahab stated during the event that the municipal administration had set aside PKR 1.5 billion for the restoration and development of different road infrastructure projects in the city. He claims that road repair will shorten commute times while improving city infrastructure. He also announced that the city government would begin work on renovating RCD Ground in Malir. In addition, he stated that the administration would complete the renovation of Jahangir Road, Chakiwara Road, Mohabbat Khan Ji Road, and Shahra-e-Noor Jahan within the next two months. In addition, two projects under the Karachi Neighborhood Improvement Project will be completed in the next six months.

In other city development news, Murtaza laid the foundation stone for the city’s tallest waterfall. The waterfall will be located in Kidney Hill Park, which is Karachi’s highest point. The projected waterfall will be 200 feet long and 25 feet tall.
