Karachi: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has started construction on a 5.5-kilometre road connecting Shahrah-e-Humayun with Shah Waliullah Road in Block 4 of the Federal B area, according to a news story published on Friday (December 31).

Karachi Administrator, Chief Minister’s Law Adviser Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited the construction site of the Shahrah-e-Humayun road for inspection. He ordered the completion of the road as soon as possible to reduce the traffic congestion in the area. The administrator mentioned that development work was being carried out in all parts of the city to improve the overall infrastructure.
Moreover, the Karachi administrator also visited the Karachi Zoological & Botanical Gardens on Thursday (December 30) asked the relevant authorities to renovate and improve the facilities of the zoo. During the visit, the administrator ordered to rehabilitate the lake, historical fountain, fish house, snake house, and animal cages.

Additionally, the preservation of old trees was also ordered to inform the citizens about the rare trees. The administrator also disclosed that new animals will be brought into the zoo to provide an opportunity for the citizens to learn more about wildlife. He also directed the authorities to provide better food items at the park.
