Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has earmarked a budget of PKR 8.5 million for the enhancement and expansion of the roundabout adjacent to Khayaban-e-Iqbal Junction, Service Road East, in Sector F-10, Islamabad, according to a news source on March 26.

As disclosed in the details, this initiative is part of CDA’s efforts to enhance travel convenience for Islamabad’s residents and improve the city’s traffic management system, aiming to alleviate congestion issues and save commuters’ time. Tenders for the project have been advertised in newspapers, and upon the evaluation of received bids, the project will commence promptly.

This endeavour is expected to regulate traffic flow and mitigate traffic-related challenges in the twin cities. Additionally, in line with the directives of the CDA chairman, beautification efforts, including strategic plantation, will be undertaken to enhance the aesthetics of the project.
