Rawalpindi: Khanpur Dam Water Supply Project’s expansion Phase III is nearing completion, according to a news report. However, the projected deadline of 31st March 2018 is not expected to be met.
The project was to receive a grant of PKR 57 million, which is to be issued. According to the details of the project, work on water supply through pipes from overhead and underground tanks is in process at Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantt. At certain points, supply lines from below the railway lines are also being constructed and an NOC for this work has been allotted.
