In an interview with the media, the president of the hoteliers association in Kaghan valley, Seth Matiullah, stated that the restoration of tourism would benefit the locals by returning thousands of jobs. He said that the COVID-19 limitations negatively influenced the tourist business throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). It is worth noting that the government has begun several tourist marketing programmes for the region, including the involvement of multinational hotel chains and the development of tourism zones. The activities are expected to enhance tourism in northern areas by creating jobs.
