Islamabad: The posts of head of finance, estate and land, and environment at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) have been vacant for a year, a news source reported.
Allegedly, sources inside the civic authority revealed that these posts may have intentionally been kept unoccupied because of external influence. Temporary employees have been performing the duties demanded of these posts and this has been problematic in more ways than one, the news source stated.
The Capital Administration and Development Division Minister of State Tariq Fazal Chaudhary assured a news source that these positions will be filled by competent candidates soon.
