Karachi: Director General (DG)Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Asif Ikram directed the authority’s recovery department on Thursday to expedite the process of digitising land records, according to news sources. The authority officials were also directed to digitally map all KDA schemes and lands.

Additionally, the director general visited several offices of the recovery department at the Civic Centre and expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness and hygiene measures. He also issued direction for employees to cut back on expenses and to ensure recovery of pending dues.

Furthermore, Ikram asked KDA Recoveries Director Raza Qaimkhani to issue notices to the non-paying defaulters and to increase revenue for making the authority financially stable. He also encourages employees to share any grievances through written reports, saying that departments should play a positive role in the authority’s betterment.
