Karachi: The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) has decided to launch new affordable housing schemes and various development projects in the city to facilitate the locals, according to a media report published on Tuesday (March 22).

A high-level meeting was held, chaired by KDA Director General (DG) Syed Mohammad Ali Shah, which was attended by other KDA senior officials. As per the details, it was highlighted that the KDA will start development work on affordable housing schemes, hospitals, and recreational facilities across Karachi.

During the meeting, the KDA DG stated that the authority aims to expand its revenue sources through the development of these projects. It will help the department to improve the economic situation by completing the projects on time. The senior officials informed the meeting about the ongoing development projects in the city. KDA DG Shah was satisfied with the progress of different projects.
