Karachi: On the instructions of Sindh Building Control Authority, the Karachi Development Authority (KDA)’s drive against encroachment is underway in full swing, reported a news source. Under this operation, KDA staff teamed up with an Anti-Encroachment team to demolish several structures in Korangi Sector 6.
A similar operation was carried out in an illegally set-up cattle market in the vicinity of Gulistan-e-Jauhar’s Kamran Chaurangi. Talking to the media about the anti-encroachment drive, the SBCA Demolition Director Sajid Ahmed said that the operation is being carried out under the strict orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and it will last till the practice ends.
The operation is being monitored by KDA Director General Samiuddin Siddiqui, who also issues related instructions to ensure that the desired results are achieved.
