Karachi: Karachi Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President Younus Muhammad Bashir has demanded restoration of the previous system for real estate taxation, per a news source.
Reportedly, Bashir has called for resolving the property valuation issues on a priority basis, stating that there shouldn’t be two rates to evaluate the same property on provincial and federal levels to calculate tax.
He also claimed that the valuation tables issued by the Federal Board of Revenue are unrealistic and have some legal flaws.
