The construction of the Nagar Highway will begin in Pissan on the left side of the Hunza River and run through Nagar, ending in Hoper Nagar. Once completed, the road will link with KKH at Ganish Hunza, offering improved inter-regional connectivity and greater tourist access to the inner areas of Nagar. The PKR 4 billion project will also serve as a safer alternative during the summer months, as it will be less affected by glaciers’ melting and flooding than Karakoram Highway.
