Karachi: Karachi Administrator Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Monday (January 24) stated that 22 new roads will be constructed in the Central and West districts in the city, according to media reports.

As per the details, the construction of Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan has been started along with Iqbal Park in Gulberg, which is being developed on the pattern of Jahangir Park. The administrator also mentioned that payment has been made for 240 buses to run in Karachi. Additionally, the administrator disclosed that 100 parks are being renovated in the Central district in order to provide recreational facilities for the locals.

PPP Karachi Division President Najmi Alam, DMC Central officials, Central District President Masroor Ahsan, and Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem were present on the occasion. The citizens informed Barrister Wahab about the problems pertaining to street crimes, roads, sewerage, and water. PPP Central District President Masroor Ahsan disclosed that open katcheri will be organised for the citizens, so their problems can be resolved.
