Karachi – The Anti-Encroachment Department of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) razed over 100 illegal stalls from a footpath near Empress Market in Saddar.
Talking to a news agency, Bilal Manzar an official of KMC said that more than 2000 stalls were removed a week ago from the road that leads to Empress Market but illegal stalls were developed again on the footpaths.
Manzar said that the Anti-Encroachment Department would not allow encroachers to set up new encroachments in the areas where department had already removed illegal developments.
