Karachi – KMC (Karachi Metropolitan Corporation) plans to remove all the illegal bazars which are operating in different areas of the city.
No official permission was sought for these bazars, so a decision was taken in a meeting of KMC officers to eliminate these bazars.
Moreover, it was decided in the meeting that legal bazars would be upgraded and re-auctioned. Samiuddin Siddiqui, the commissioner who chaired the meeting, also ordained to formulate bylaws for bazars within a week.
