Karachi: The Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar welcomes the ‘We Care of Humanity’ (WCH) support for providing better facilities in Karachi, according to news sources.
Maria Leonoro Torres, the founder of ‘We Care of Humanity’ (WCH) was accompanied by a delegation to meet Mayor Karachi at his office on Thursday, to offer assistance for the development of Karachi.

WCH is a renowned international organization which tackles global issues. The varied sectors that were part of the discussion include: promotion of tourism, curtailing pollution, renovation and upgradation of educational and medical institutions, producing fuel from garbage through RDF system, environment and plantation.
The delegation was also given a comprehensive presentation on the city of Karachi and its strategic and demographic significance.

Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar stated that the city government is working to tirelessly to ensure better civic facilities to the citizens of Karachi. He further added that Karachi is largest commercial center of the country and that any cooperation regarding its progress is encouraged.
The founder of WCH also expressed her keenness in the formulation of sister cities agreement between Karachi and Manila.
